Osteopathy

Osteopathy

Osteopaths are manual therapists; we use our hands to asses and treat you by gently moving and palpating your body. We assess for pain, asymmetry, mobility, and how your muscles and other tissues feel to determine areas within the body that may directly or indirectly relate to your complaint. A variety of manual therapy techniques are used and management plans are provided; suggesting lifestyle adjustments, how to manage current symptoms and offer prevention strategies once you’re back on track.
They can work closely with your GP and other allied health practitioners and refer on when required.

Osteopaths can assist you with many health-related complaints. Some examples are:

  • Headaches and Migraines
  • Neck and shoulder pain
  • Carpal tunnel
  • Tendinopathies
  • Back pain and stiffness
  • Sciatica
  • Bursitis
  • Arthritis
  • Whiplash
  • Digestive disorders
  • Pregnancy related complaints
  • Preventative health
